Movement Is Medicine
I’d be lying if I said that aesthetics aren’t a big reason why we’re motivated to work out. I’m guilty of it, too. I mean, who doesn’t want to look like JLo?! But if you hate every minute of it and you’re not getting any joy from it, then there’s no way you’re going to be able to will yourself to do it over and over and over again.
When you choose movement that you enjoy, the real reward is how it makes you FEEL. Aesthetics are just an added bonus. Movement is medicine for your whole being; serving as a way to feel alive, to feel strong, and to connect with your mental, emotional, and spiritual self.
The more you move your body, the better you’ll feel about yourself inside and out. When you shine from within, you’ll radiate all that goodness into all other areas of your life.
